1. Exposition of Blessed Sacrament
2. Opening Prayer
In the Name of the Father, and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit. Amen
Jesus, my Lord, / I bow down before You, down to the depth of my utter nothingness, / and from that depth I raise my eyes / in humble supplication to Your Sacred Heart, imploring Your mercy and forgiveness for my many sins. / Give me the grace to spend this hour of loving adoration / with the full attention You desire. Come into my poor heart Yourself, Oh Lord, / and work out Your pleasure in it / directing my faculties, senses and powers to your greater honor and glory. / Glorious Saint Joseph, foster-father and protector of Jesus Christ, / to you I raise my heart and my hands to implore your powerful intercession. / Please obtain for me from the kind Heart of Jesus the help and the graces necessary / for my spiritual and temporal welfare. / I ask particularly for the grace of a happy death and the special favor I now implore. {silently mention your petition now} / Guardian of the Word Incarnate, / I feel animated with confidence that your prayers in my behalf / will be graciously heard before the throne of God. / O glorious Saint Joseph, through the love you bear to Jesus Christ, / and for the glory of His name, hear my prayers and obtain my petitions.

St. Joseph,
Renowned offspring of David,
Light of Patriarchs,
Spouse of the Mother of God,
Chaste guardian of the Virgin,
Foster father of the Son of God,
Diligent protector of Christ,
Head of the Holy Family,
Joseph most just,
Joseph most chaste,
Joseph most prudent,
Joseph most strong,
Joseph most obedient,
Joseph most faithful,
Mirror of patience,
Lover of poverty,
Model of artisans,
Glory of home life,
Guardian of virgins,
Pillar of families,
Solace of the wretched,
Hope of the sick,
Patron of the dying,
Terror of demons,
Protector of Holy Church,
Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, spare us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, graciously hear us, O Lord.
Lamb of God, who take away the sins of the world, have mercy on us.
He made him the lord of his household, And prince over all his possessions.
Let us pray. O God, in your ineffable providence you were pleased to choose Blessed Joseph to be the spouse of your most holy Mother; grant, we beg you, that we may be worthy to have him for our intercessor in heaven whom on earth we venerate as our Protector: You who live and reign forever and ever. Amen.
4. Hymn: Saint Joseph was a Quiet Man
Saint Joseph was a quiet man who made things out of wood;
He worked with love to guide his hand, and what he made was good.
He lived with God, a little boy, from whom all thing have come;
He worked for him, in peace and joy, who made the stars and sun.A carpenter to guard the Son who set the stars so high,
A carpenter made chairs for one who made the earth and sky.
He lived with God, a little boy, from whom all thing have come;
He worked for him, in peace and joy, who made the stars and sun.
5. Reading: “Like wife, like husband,” by Br. John M. Samaha, S.M., (Canadian Messenger of the Sacred Heart, March 2000 issue).
6. Memorare of St. Joseph
Remember, most pure spouse of the Virgin Mary, St. Joseph, our beloved patron, never was it known that anyone invoked your protection and sought your aid without being comforted. Inspired with this confidence, I come to you and commend myself to you. Do not despise my petition, dear foster father of our Redeemer, but accept them graciously and pray for me to your Son, Our Lord.
7. Prayer to Saint Joseph
Blessed Joseph, husband of Mary, be with us this day. / You protected and cherished the Virgin; loving the Child Jesus as your Son, / you rescued Him from the danger of death. / Defend the Church, the household of God, purchased by the blood of Christ. / Guardian of the Holy Family, be with us in our trials. / May your prayers obtain for us the strength to flee from error / and wrestle with the powers of corruption so that in life / we may grow in holiness and in death rejoice in the crown of victory. Amen.
8. Prayer to Saint Joseph for the Spirit of Work
Glorious Saint Joseph, model of all who pass their life in labor, / obtain for me the grace to work in a spirit of penance / to atone for my many sins; / to work conscientiously, putting the call of duty above my own inclinations; / to work with gratitude and joy, / considering it an honor to use and develop by my labor the gifts I have received from God; / to work with order, peace, moderation and patience, without ever recoiling before weariness or difficulties. / Help me to work, above all, with purity of intention / and with detachment from self, having always before my eyes the hour of death / and the accounting which I must render of time lost, talents wasted, good omitted, and vain complacency in success, / which is so fatal to the work of God. / All for Jesus, all for Mary, all after your example, O Patriarch Joseph! / This shall be my watchword in life and in death. Amen
9. Rosary (Joyful Mysteries)
10. Period of quiet for private meditation (± 5 minutes)
11. Ever blessed and glorious Joseph
Ever blessed and glorious Joseph, kind and loving father, and helpful friend of all in sorrow. / You are the good father and protector of orphans, the defender of the defenseless, / the patron of those in need and sorrow. / Look kindly on me in my need. / My sins have drawn down on me as they displease our God, and so I am surrounded by unhappiness. / To you, loving guardian of the Family of Nazareth, do I go for help and protection. / Listen, I beg you, with fatherly concern hear my earnest prayers, / and obtain for me the help I ask, if it is the will of our God. / I ask it by the infinite mercy of the eternal Son of God, /which moved Him to take our nature and be born into this world of sorrow. / I ask it by the weariness and suffering you endured when you found no shelter / at the inn of Bethlehem for the holy Virgin, / nor a place where the Son of God could be born. / Then, being everywhere refused, you had to allow the Queen of Heaven / to give birth to the world’s Redeemer in a cave. / I ask it by the loveliness and power of that sacred Name, Jesus, / which you conferred on the adorable Infant. / I ask it by that painful torture you felt at the prophecy of holy Simeon, / which declared the Child Jesus and His holy Mother future victims of our sins and of their great love for us. / I ask it through your sorrow and pain of soul / when the angel declared to you that the life of the Child Jesus was sought by His enemies. / From their evil plan you had to flee with Him and His Blessed Mother into Egypt. / I ask it by all the suffering, weariness, and labors of that long and dangerous journey. / I ask it by all your care to protect the sacred Child / and His Immaculate Mother during your second journey, / when you were ordered to return to your own country. / I ask it by your peaceful life in Nazareth where you met with so many joys and sorrows. / I ask it by your great distress when the adorable Child was lost to you / and His Mother for three days. / I ask it by your joy at finding Him in the Temple, / and by the comfort you found at Nazareth, while living in the company of the Child Jesus. / I ask it by the wonderful submission He showed in His obedience to you. / I ask it by the perfect love and conformity you showed in accepting the Divine order / to depart from this life, and from the company of Jesus and Mary. / I ask it by the joy which filled your soul, / when the Redeemer of the world, triumphant over death and hell, / entered into the possession of His kingdom, and led you into it with special honors. / I ask it through Mary’s glorious Assumption, and through that endless happiness / you share with her in the presence of God. / O good father, I beg you, by all your sufferings, sorrows and joys, / to hear me and obtain for me the help I need. / Obtain for all those who have asked my prayers / everything that is useful to them in the plan of God. Finally, my dear patron and father, be with me and all who are dear to me / in our last moments, that we may eternally sing the praises of Jesus, Mary and Joseph.

Salvation is always the ending of the minds fascinated identification with the dead and unchanging image of what it was. It is the complete reversal of the
“natural” order of things a METANOIA – the Greek word for repentance, meaning precisely a turning around of the mind, so that it no longer faces into the past, the land of the shadow of death, but into the Eternal Present.
So long as the mind is captivated by memory, and really feels itself to be that past image which is “I” it can do nothing to save itself; it’s sacrifices are of no avail, and it’s Law gives no life.
After years of therapy, I had a metamorphosis – I asked Jesus to have mercy on me & forgive me my sins. He delivered me from my inequities. Praise the Lord!!
Peace Be With You
Michael
